Slag crushers

Prefamet manufactures crushers for slag crushing in slag removal systems. Crushers are mounted between slag trap and feeder and they are used for initial slag crushing (lump size max 150 mm x 150 mm up to from 10 mm to 50 mm).

Crusher structure includes the following elements:
- body,
- rotor,
- bottom grate,
- drive,
- feed bucket.

Crusher body is a box structure. There are bearing and driving covers screwed to the side walls of crusher body. Rotor with drive shaft is installed in bearings. The rotor has blades evenly distributed on the whole length. They are mounted perpendicularly to its axis. Blades whirl between the rods of bottom grate installed in the lower part of the body. The rotor powers moto-reducer by using a clutch and drive shaft. In their upper part, crushers have feed bucket covered with lining that facilitates slag movement.

Sifters / screes are manufactured of regular steel or acid resistant steel.
