Dampers

Shut-off and regulating dumpers are installed on cold and hot air shafts and exhaust shafts in steam and water boilers, when the temperature of the medium flowing does not exceed 400°C with the pressure 6000 Pa.

Dampers are composed of rectangular or round steel frame, one or many moving segments and a lever with connecting string. Movable segments of the regulating dumper, there are steel caps, which enable smooth adjustments of medium flow through the dumper when closing or opening. Change of the movable segments position in relation to the dumper frame may be done up to 90° angle - with full flow opening; in case of regulatory dumper, the medium flow is regulated between 0° to 65° angle.

Movable elements position change may be done by the use of any servomotor type. Each movable segment of the dumper is made of metal sheets and a shaft with pins built into the dumper frame thanks to the use of special roll bearings or self-locating ball bearing systems and sealing glands. Shaft pins are placed on dumper frame - in bearing housings, where special grips and roll pads are used. Similar roll pads are used in dumper levers. dumper levers are placed on shaft pins with the use of grips. Those grips enable to regulate the position of the lever in relation to the shaft quickly and easily.
