Belt conveyors

Belt conveyors (feeders) constitute a group of conveyors which transport material on the surface of a mobile belt.  

Belt conveyors are used for conveying loose and granulated material and dry packed or bagged material horizontally and with maximum 20^o angle. Use of belts with cleats it is possible to obtain greater conveyor angles (to 40^o).
Belt conveyors are used in various industries for re-loading and transportation works in storage areas, storages, construction sites, in process lines at mineral process and exploitation plants, to transport winning and overburden in mining industry. 

BELT CONVEYOR SYSTEMS ARE MADE UP OF THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS (DEPENDING ON THEIR PURPOSE):

- stationary belt conveyors (horizontal, diagonal and polygonal conveyors)
- stationary-type conveyors with wheels and reversible
- reversible (mobile) belt conveyors
- conveyors with changeable length of transportation line (extendable belt conveyor, mobile and reversible conveyors)

Stationary belt conveyors are durably built into the process line. We can differentiate between:
- heavy type open stationary belt conveyors/feeders for aggregate transportation, minerals and construction material (horizontal, diagonal and polygonal conveyors),
- light type open stationary belt conveyors/feeders for transportation of dry packed material , packages, food articles (to be supplied to storage warehouses)  
 - encased stationary belt conveyors/feeders.

Mobile and reversible conveyors /feeders. To meet special requirements of belt conveyor lines we also manufacture stationary conveyors in mobile (PTSj) and mobile-and-reversible versions (PTSjo). These conveyors are typical stationary conveyors built into wheel chassis, turn table or mobile platform with reversible mechanism.

Reversible (mobile) belt conveyors are characterised by a self-supporting frame that allows for their movement or rolling (with wheel chassis). They do not need to be permanently mounted to the floor / foundation.

Special types of conveyors / feeders. Prefamet Zremb S.A. developed a group of belt conveyors which have a mobile charge spot. Innovative solutions and construction variability of these machines provide users with new opportunities and ways to organise transportation works.
